Introduction
What is stained glass for me?
In my opinion there isn't any difference between a painting and a stained glass window. The technique is different of course but the artistic element remains the same. I express myself with complete freedom, playing directly with the light, that is the great advantage of working with stained glass.
The examples that you will be able to see are in progression belong to different eras and were born out of different motivations, but they all have my touch... funnily enough I only realised this when I put together these images. I began to express myself with this form 20 yrs ago. Shit, how time flies by! Their production is limited, amongst other reasons, because their execution is relatively expensive and there is a lack of sensibility towards these pieces of work, people associate them with cathedrals and banks (extremely poor quality pieces of glass firstly, because of badly finished leading and secondly, a mass of cement with the minimum of light).
Above all, my pieces of glass are light and colour. They have enabled me to play God for a few moments. I hope that you enjoy them!
