MOTIVACIÓN DEL DIRECTOR
“Los malos tratos son un residuo cultural del  machismo, que considera a la mujer como un ser de segunda categoría sin más cometido que el sometimiento.
Este cortometraje alude a la violencia machista y procura inducir sensaciones de inquietud, temor y sobresalto en el espectador, facilitándole un despertar parecido al de la Bella Durmiente, mediante un metafórico beso que le enfrente a la realidad para cambiarla”.

A NOTE BY THE DIRECTOR
Battered women are cultural residues of male chauvinism, for which women are second-rate human beings whose function is to be subjected to men.
This short movie deals with male violence and tries to induce feelings of restlessness, fear and fright in the heart of the audience, who experiences an awakening similar to that of the Sleeping Beauty through a metaphoric kiss that brings them back to reality in order to change it.

SINOPSIS
Un dormitorio, una cama, una mujer que duerme.
En el exterior, silencio apenas roto por el sonido de los pasos de un hombre que se acerca hasta la puerta del dormitorio... fuerza la cerradura y accede.
La Bella Durmiente tardará en despertar, pero nunca podrá explicar la tragedia que tiene lugar en ese dormitorio y cuya verdadera dimensión sólo conocerá el espectador.

SYNOPSIS
A bedroom, a bed, a woman who sleeps.
There is silence outside... barely broken by the steps of a man who comes closer to the door of the bedroom... He forces the lock open and enters.
The Sleeping Beauty won’t wake up for long, but neither she nor her Prince will ever be able to explain the tragedy taking place in her bedroom. Only the spectator will know its true dimension.
